What makes a security company stand out from the pack? Great technology is essential. 24/7 monitoring is huge. And professional installation goes a long way.
But plenty of security companies offer that. So what really makes us different? When you’re in the business of “safe,” this is an important question, and one that we consider often.
Over the past year, we’ve been listening to our customers and investing resources to improve our products and service. After a lot of thought and hard work, we’re excited to officially introduce you to our new brand and answer some questions you may have in the coming weeks.
We’ve created a totally new look that matches who we are as a company and where we’re going.
You’ll see our new branding — including a deeper purple and a sharp new logo — on signs, vehicles, and across our communications.
Our name is now shortened to simply Guardian Protection — a natural evolution from Guardian Protection Services that preserves the focus of what we do: helping protect homes and businesses.
Logos are very visible, but what matters is what’s below the surface. Foundationally, our people and culture of engagement and connectedness are key to forming our brand. I’m convinced if we build the right environment internally and our employees execute well in creating memorable customer experiences, we will succeed, regardless of the competition.Bryan Cipoletti, President, Guardian Protection
We love the new Guardian look and hope you do, too! Take a quick look behind the scenes:
Why are you changing your look?
Brands evolve for many reasons, and in our case, it’s not change for the sake of change. Just like the security industry and technology itself, Guardian Protection has come a long way since our start in 1950.
While our existing brand served us well for so many years, it no longer captures who we are today. We’ve grown tremendously and needed a more modern look that represents the services and products we provide.
We’ve grown and changed quite a bit over the years, and it was time for our look and logo to feel more like us. We’ve really broken down our brand to the basics and emerged with a fresh perspective on who we are and who we are striving to be — modern, simple, strong, and safe.Kevin Bish, Vice President of Marketing, Guardian Protection
Life is better when it’s safe — it’s that simple! We want that simple truth, backed by the power of purple, to shine through everything we do. Like our security solutions, our new shield logo is strong and modern. Our new name is authentic and straight to the point. Our new purple color is vibrant and energetic, just like our team.
It comes back to that question of what makes a security company different. Of course, we offer professional monitoring, smart technology, and 24/7 security. But our people are really the heart of what we do, and our new brand better reflects that. We bring a human connection to every interaction, whether we’re solving issues or helping save lives.
As we all know, technology is constantly evolving, and this is no different in our Five-Diamond accredited monitoring centers.
And while technology is critical, it’s the quality of our specialists operating Guardian Protection’s monitoring centers that makes us stand out from the crowd. They add an irreplaceable human element to our award-winning service.Jason Bradley, Vice President of Care and Monitoring Operations, Guardian Protection
To us, your safety is personal, and you deserve to be safe and connected. We’re confident our award-winning products and services — delivered by a passionate team who truly cares — give our customers the best smart home experience possible.
The brand relaunch signals a renewed focused on our customers and prospects. Our goal has always been to help make them safer; but we’re also looking to create an easier experience for them overall.Matthew Fidler, Vice President of Customer Experience, Guardian Protection
Will anything about my service change?
Nope! Our new look and new name will have no impact on your service, your contract, or your rate. You’ll probably notice the logo change, but that’s about it. We’re still us, just with a fresh look!
Does my Guardian app still work the same?
You bet. The only thing that’s changing is the logo within the app.
If you don’t have it yet, now’s the time! You can download the app for free* on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store – just search “Guardian Protection.”
What do I need to do?
There’s nothing you need to do, but if you would like to order a new yard sign and window decals, we’re happy to send them to you. Just log in to our Customer Care portal and click “Shop.”
First time logging in to Customer Care? It’s easy to sign up. Just choose “Not Registered” and we’ll walk you through it. We’ve made some updates to the site recently, and there’s a ton you can do here, from testing your system to signing up for autopay. The Customer Care site also has a newly expanded Resources section with videos, FAQs, manuals, and how-to instructions to help you get the most from your Guardian system.
So what else is new?
A lot — the future has never been brighter for Guardian Protection and our customers!
In addition to our refreshed Customer Care site, we’ve been rolling out new security and home automation features (like the Smart Signal mobile app) and introducing new products (like the Guardian IQ2 panel).
And of course, we regularly give time and resources to the communities where we live and work — organizing charity fundraisers, food and clothing donation drives, activities for individuals with special needs, and more. We’re honored to be partnering this year with the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, dedicated to helping children exposed to domestic violence.
